Sound Mind Live brings attention to the importance of mental health with Seventh-Annual Music Festival

Sound Mind Live announces its seventh-annual mental health music festival taking place in Brooklyn, NY on Sunday, May 18th.

The festival will be hosted by comedian Jordan Carlos and will feature performances by BØRNS, American Authors, and MILCK. The festival will also include panels on mental health and social justice, a spoken word presentation by Hakeem Rahim, and a special live recording of the Sound Mind/Consequence podcast Going There with Dr. Mike, featuring a surprise artist guest.

Sound Mind Live Music Festival for Mental Health aims to provide support, raise awareness, and create a safe space to spotlight mental health care. Over a dozen leading mental health organizations including the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and the Mayor’s Office of Community Mental Health will be on-site, offering keynote talks and live resources.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, April 3rd at 11 am ET here.

By blending music, conversation, and community resources, the Sound Mind Live Music Festival continues to break the stigma around mental health and inspire meaningful change through the power of art and connection.
