One of the most highly anticipated debut albums of the year may just be from cinematic alt-rock duo World’s First Cinema. Ahead of stints at all three weekends of Warped Tour this summer, the band has announced that their long-awaited full-length debut, entitled Something of Wonder, will be released on July 11 via Fearless Records. The album will feature their stellar newest song, “End of My Rope,” on its 12-song track list and is fleshed out with production in collaboration with Fran Hall (Imagine Dragons, ZAYN).

When describing the fusion of pop, EDM and 90s rock across the record, the band had in mind a vision for the intensity and sonic vastness of film scores as their inspiration. They added:

We’ve done heavily cinematic songs, really dark rocky songs, and orchestral piano ballads – we wanted our debut album to encompass all of these elements into a sonic journey that is glued together by the cinematic production tone we’ve always had.
