Michael Marcagi takes flight with new single “Flyover State” and announces new tour dates

Date:

Rising singer-songwriter Michael Marcagi has released a heartfelt new single, “Flyover State,” via Warner Records. The track explores themes of imposter syndrome, stepping out of comfort zones, and taking risks, all underscored by an upbeat mandolin and emotionally charged lyrics.

The new single follows recent fan favorites like “Midwest Kid” — hailed as a “nostalgic, uptempo earworm” — as well as “Keep Me Honest,” “Good Enough” (co-written with Wesley Schultz of The Lumineers), and “Tear It All Apart.” Marcagi made waves in 2024 with his Warner Records debut EP American Romance, featuring the platinum-certified hit “Scared to Start.” That single amassed billions of TikTok views and nearly 800 million global streams.

Marcagi is currently out on a US headlining tour, with multiple sold out shows. He will join The Lumineers for their EU/UK arena tour in April and May before hitting the road with Rainbow Kitten Surprise across the southeastern US this summer. Fans can catch Marcagi performing live on CBS Saturday Morning on March 1, 2025, and see his full list of upcoming tour dates below.
