World renowned band Creed brought their Are You Ready? tour to Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee this week. Support on this tour included 3 Doors Down and Mammoth WVH both which added a diverse mix and made for a night fans won’t soon forget at this sold out event.
Starting out the night right Los Angeles, California based band Mammoth WVH brought the heat. Vocalist, Wolfgang Van Halen worked the crowd with his insane stage presence and energy as he maintained vocal control and insane riffs. Opening up their set with “Another Celebration at the End of the World” Mammoth also played hits “Distance,” and “Take a Bow” before closing out their set with “Don’t Back Down.” This four piece band made several new fans that night as everyone was in awe of their performance. Mammoth helped pave the way for the night ahead, and fans were desperate for what was next to come.
Up next was American rock band 3 Doors Down, as a clock counted down on the screen for their entrance fans went absolutely wild. Formed in 1996 out of Mississippi this four piece band is known around the world for their music, and have became a household name over the last 28 years. Starting out the night with “Train” 3 Doors Down played several fan favorites during their 13 song set including “It’s Not My Time,” “Here Without You,” and “Kryptonite” before closing out with “When I’m Gone.” Fans sang along with vocalist, Brad Arnold, who was clearly having the time of this life on stage while smiling, and interacting with fans during songs. This was truly a iconic band to experience live, and a must see if you have not seen them live yet!
Now it was time for the moment we all had been waiting for, Creed. As the light dimmed and a large CREED logo appeared on the screen fans began chanting “CREED CREED CREED CREED,” a chant that I believe could have been heard for blocks. Fans lined the barricade decked out in merch, holding signs, and smiling from ear to ear as a once in a lifetime experience was before them. As the band entered the stage and went into their first song “Bullets” the roaring screams grew louder. Playing a 16 song set, Creed performed all the classics including “What If,” With Arms Wide Open,” and “Higher” before closing out the night with a two song encore that including “One Last Breath,” and “My Sacrifice.” Vocalist Scott Stapp brought pure joy to fans both old and young in this sold out event with this beautiful production, something you will only believe if you experience it yourself.
The Are You Ready tour is just getting started as they travel across the United States visiting several major cities including Austin, Detroit and Baltimore before finishing up on December 5th in Orlando, Florida.
