Laila faces the truth on new song “Casper”

Date:

Canadian artist Laila is known for her unique voice and captivating storytelling. She is diving into the world of entertainment, with her upcoming musical project set for completion in 2025 and her recent acting roles on shows such as “Glamorous.” Her new song “Casper” focuses on unreliable partners.

“Casper” is about partners that aren’t fully invested in their relationship. Through strong vocals and guitar percussion, Laila questions the true intentions of her partner. Lyrics such as “Casper / What is it you’re after? / Sweep me off of my feet so completely then just leave me shattered / You’re a friend then you’re a ghost” show this confusion and loneliness that come with the betrayal of this partner.

“My childhood love for casper the friendly ghost lives in my relationships with boys who are friendly but ghost me!!”
