Germano unleashes a darker side with haunting new single “panic!”

Date:

NYC-based alt-pop artist Germano is back with a gripping new single, “panic!,” which will captivate fans of Billie Eilish and Conan Gray. With growing online acclaim and support from publications like EARMILK and PopDust, Germano continues to make waves in the commercial alt-pop scene, and “panic!” is his boldest release yet.

Co-produced by Germano, the track explores his struggles with anxiety in the music industry, marked by distorted vocals, eerie panting effects, and a driving 808 bassline. The song’s haunting atmosphere and infectious chorus make it a standout in his discography.

Germano, who also directed and produced a visualizer for the song, reflects on the inspiration behind “panic!,”:

“I used to put so much pressure on myself to succeed that when my plans didn’t turn out as hoped, I’d get terrible anxiety. Now, I create music for my inner child, which brings me content and confidence. This song is a reminder that I have what it takes to accomplish my goals.”
