The Kid LAROI will release deluxe edition of ‘The First Time’ this Friday

Date:

The Kid LAROI, whose real name is Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, is excited to share the deluxe edition of his debut album, The First Time, this Friday, Aug. 9.

The original pop-rap record debuted on Nov. 10, 2023 through Columbia, reaching No. 26 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 200 shortly after it was released. It was also nominated for Album of the Year at the National Indigenous Music Awards 2024. It featured hit singles like “Nights Like This”, “Too Much” (with Jungkook of BTS and Central Cee) and “Love Again.”

The deluxe edition will feature five brand-new original songs that failed to make the original tracklist.

This year, Howard released a documentary about himself titled Kids Are Growing Up: A Story About A Kid Named Laroi. The film features Howard discussing his struggles in the music industry while honoring his late mentor, Juice WRLD. Howard first became known for his association with the rapper after meeting him on tour. Juice WRLD died on Dec. 8, 2019.

After the film’s release on Feb. 29, 2024, Howard released the single “Girls.”

The First Time (Deluxe) Tracklist:
1. Baby I’m Back
2. Stick With Me
3. Pick Sides
4. Nights Like This Pt. 2
5. Hatred (ft. Lil Yachty)
