The Kid LAROI has Delivered Another Preview of ‘The First Time’ with New Track and Video for “BLEED”

Date:

The Kid LAROI’s latest track, “BLEED,” is an emotionally charged ballad that offers a glimpse into his vulnerability and musical versatility. With his sophomore album, The First Time, just around the corner, LAROI has delivered yet another compelling preview of what’s to come.

LAROI dives head first into the aftermath of a relationship’s dissolution, grappling with the pain of seeing his former lover move on while his own heart continues to bleed. The lyrics are raw and relatable, capturing the emotional turmoil that often accompanies the end of a significant connection. The chorus, “How did your heart mend so easy? / Mine still bleeds Hard to believe you don’t need me,” encapsulates the song’s core theme.

Channeling his emotions seamlessly, he allows the listener to feel the depth of his pain while the slow-burning instrumental, with its beautiful guitar licks, serves as the perfect backdrop for his soulful delivery.

Accompanied by a haunting video directed by Ramez Silyan, “BLEED” offers a visual representation of the emotional turmoil LAROI is experiencing. The dreamlike sequences of drowning and revival by his past lover, played by Ryley Ladd, provide a striking contrast to the scenes of him recklessly riding his bike, ultimately waking to confront the wreckage of both his emotions and reality.

Mark your calendars for the release of The First Time on November 10, which will be available through Columbia Records. Pre-Save the album now.
