Thee Sacred Souls explore true love with “Easier Said Than Done”

Having only formed in 2019, Thee Sacred Souls are quickly making their way towards becoming the next big thing in music.  The soul band has received honorable co-signs from artists such as Alicia Keys, Black Pumas, and Timbaland, global streams of over 40 million, and shows that have sold out – all with just a few singles and little promotion to their name.  How have they become so popular?  Well, their music is authentic and timeless, carrying with it a sense of class and determination.  We easily experience these qualities when listening to their latest single, “Easier Said Than Done,” taken from their upcoming debut album.

With “Easier Said Than Done,” Thee Sacred Souls explore the uncertainties of love.  Over a blissful R&B production, vocalist Josh Lane describes a conversation with someone he loves, where they openly discuss the characteristics of fully investing in one another.  He sings, “She said be honest with how you feel / I said that’s easier said than done” and “I said just trust the way you feel / She said that’s easier said than done,” showing the complex nature of relationships.  You can check it out below.

Along with the single, Thee Sacred Souls have announced their self-titled debut album.  The album is set to arrive August 26 through Daptone/Penrose Records.  You can pre-order it here.

You can also check out Thee Sacred Souls on their upcoming tour, which starts June 17.  Tickets can be found here.
