With a focus on sharing comforting music that is based on honesty, Steven Malcolm has resonated with fans around the world.  He has 58 million global streams and over 13 million views on YouTube, very much connecting with those who are here for his captivating and truthful storytelling.  Both of his previous albums, Steven Malcolm and The Second City, received nominations at the GMA Dove Awards for Rap/Hip-Hop Album of the Year, paving the way for a highly anticipated third album due out next month.  Before its release, Steven is teaming up with Snoop Dogg and Jay-Way for an exciting summer jam.

On “Summertime,” the three artists give us an edgy but mellow introduction to the summer.  Snoop Dogg sets up the track, painting a scene of people having “water fights” and “flying kites.”  Steven and Jay-Way then continue the narrative, detailing their favorite parts of the sunny season.  You can check it out below.

Steven’s upcoming album, Tree, is slated for a release on June 3.  He began rolling out the album in February with “RESPECT” and followed up the single with the equally compelling “Accelerate” and “Ain’t Playin.”  With “Summertime,” Steven rounds out what to expect from Tree, ensuring that the album will live up to the hype.  You can pre-save it here.
