Ruth Eckerd Hall became the house of Daughtry last week when Chris Daughtry brought his The Dearly Beloved Tour to the Clearwater, FL mainstay. Opening was Orlando’s Tremonti, who commented on how nice it was to have a small drive to a great show. Both bands’ performances included a beautiful light show, which only enhanced the music. Although American Idol may be what some first think of when the Daughtry comes up, he has proven to be a powerhouse on his own merit. He has an ease on stage that mesmerizing. The Dearly Beloved tour will continue until the end of March.
