JORDY brings his pop perfection ‘Mind Games’ tour to Boston

Date:

Pop prince JORDY made a stop in Boston for his Mind Games tour, and it was a special one for him. It was his first ever headline tour back in the city he spent four years in, attending Boston University. He recounts living just a few blocks away from Brighton Music Hall, where he would perform to a near sold out crowd of fans and old town friends.

Catie Turner started the jam packed night off with a bang. You may remember Catie from her days on American Idol. She has come a long way since then, now opening up for JORDY. The crowd was eager to see Catie who just joined the tour that night. She put on a fantastic show and the crowd was loving every minute of it.  She played songs from her stellar EP Heartbroken and Milking It , as well as coming back out later that night to sing with JORDY on their song together “(Wish I Didn’t Have To) Lie” . It was a great way to kick off an amazing night.

OSTON would be next to continue the already brilliant night. Fans were eager to see her perform, so eager that a few fans at the show even made her a custom T-shirt that read “OSTON in Boston.”  She went on to perform songs off of her new album I’m Definitely Talking Too Much, as well as coming back out later in the show to perform her song “How to Feel Human” with JORDY. It was a sweet moment and the crowd was loving every minute of it. OSTON put on a brilliant set and got the crowd ready for JORDY to come on.

JORDY just released his debut album Mind Games, and is it a fantastic work of art. He performed hit songs from it like “Long Distance”, “Sticks And Stones” , and “Till It Hurts”. He also played some classics to the crowds delight like “Close To You” which was a bittersweet moment for JORDY as he was fighting back tears singing the song he wrote about a relationship he was in during his time in Boston a few years ago, still wanting to be close to the person. It was an emotional moment for JORDY, as he mentioned how he was always thinking about the moment he would come back to Allston and play Brighton Music Hall , and now he finally was. It was a moment to never forget. The night would continue to get even better with special appearances from OSTON to perform their song “How To Feel Human” together as well as Catie Turner to perform their song “(Wish I Didn’t Have To) Lie”.  It was a jam packed night full of amazing performances, there wasn’t a moment where the crowd wasn’t dancing along. JORDY really knows how to put on such a stellar show! You can catch the remaining tour dates here — you definitely don’t want to miss out on an amazing time.
