Arlie’s “poppin” off on their dancey new single

Nashville indie-pop group Arlie made their grand return last month with the release of “karma”, a pop-punk-inspired number that seemed designed for the festival stage. Today, they’ve released another single that further fleshes out their signature sound.

poppin“, simply put, is way groovier than anything Arlie’s ever done. I can’t think of another instance where they’ve leaned so hard into pure pop music — with an intensely funky bassline, bubbling guitars, and a music video that’s endlessly replayable (featuring the impressive rollerskating talents of Nena), the band has really swung for the fences on this one.
