Recent News: Will release their new albumĀ Gold Star Baby on August 15 through SoundOn.

With the upcoming release of their glimmering new albumĀ Gold Star Baby, indie pop group The Aces travel down a new and exciting artistic path. Continuing to elevate and expand upon their signature sapphic alt-pop artistry, The Aces now adopt a sparkling, disco-pop sonic identity with what will soon be their fourth full-length album.

Having released four singles ahead of the record so far, including the enigmatic “You Got Me” and “Twin Flame,” The Aces have created a body of work that embodies carefree catharsis, passion and groovy disco compositions. Ultimately, Gold Star Baby is a celebration of queer love decorated in sequins and neon lights.

Following the album’s release on August 15, the group will embark on The Gold Star Baby World Tour, making their way across North America, Europe and the U.K. this fall and winter. The Aces will tour with Lydia Night of The Regrettes as support.

With the oncoming release ofĀ Gold Star Baby, it’s evident that The Aces have come a long way since their 2016 debut. Consisting of Katie Henderson (guitars), McKenna Petty (bass) and sisters Alisa (drums) and Cristal Ramirez (lead vocals/guitars), The Aces faced instant success with their debut single “Stuck,” which topped alternative music charts in 2017. Pulling inspiration from indie punk and ’80s pop artists, the Utah natives combined their influences to establish for themselves a refreshing and nostalgic musicality.

That same year, they released their debut EPĀ I Don’t Like Being Honest and soon released their debut full-length recordĀ When My Heart Felt Volcanic the following year. The Aces faced even more success in the years that followed, touring alongside 5 Seconds of Summer, making an appearance on Seth Myers’Ā Late Night ShowĀ and embarking on their debut headlining tour. The Aces have since released two more LPs, including Under My Influence (2020) andĀ I’ve Loved You For So Long (2023).

Now, the outfit behind “Girls Make Me Wanna Die” is gearing up to release their fourth studio albumĀ Gold Star Baby. Taking their signature authenticity and romantic musicality to new heights, the band’s newest album is the ultimate act of celebration, allowing queerness and heartfelt vulnerability to shine in a dazzling glimmer.
