Why Bonnie release ’90 In November’ B side, “Apple Tree”

Date:

Why Bonnie had a momentous 2022. In August, the Texas quintet released their first full-length LP, 90 In November, which landed somewhere between indie-rock and indie-folk, with just the right amount of twang. Blair Howerton started writing for the album after moving to New York from Texas, and her pen captured the nostalgia that always follows change, painting a rosy portrait of Texas.

Building on this momentum, the band started 2023 with two announcements: the release of a 90 In November B side, “Apple Tree,” and a spring tour. “Apple Tree,” a mellow track “about the parables we tell ourselves to make sense of things,” is a seamless addition to Why Bonnie’s discography.
