Walker Hayes’ track “Fancy Like” is climbing the TikTok charts

Date:

Mobile, Alabama country star Walker Hayes’ current single “Fancy Like” has shown to be one of the biggest hits of the summer, thanks to TikTok. Hayes posted a dance video with the track on TikTok and since then, the track has climbed the charts, hitting #4 on Billboard, #1 on iTunes US All Genre Chart, and #4 on the Spotify US Viral 50.

The track is featured on Hayes’ current EP Country Stuff which is available to stream and purchase.

Walker explained the story behind the dance to Billboard: “This year was an odd one and I think like everybody, we all tried some new things just to kill some time. TikTok for me, honestly, it’s just a bonding mechanism for me and my daughter and we dove in heavy over COVID. She was into those dances and I was like, ‘I have nothing better to do than learn them with you.’ I love to dance. My wife and I met in high school, and I can’t lie when I say I was that guy on the dance floor – and she was always that girlfriend kind of looking at me like, ‘You’re crazy.’”

There are no signs of this track slowing down, so sit back, relax, and learn a new dance while you’re at it.

Walker Hayes will playing a select amount of shows this summer as well!
