Swedish singer songwriter Varas released his new indie pop song titled “Gotta Go” this week. Most known for his signature indie alt-pop vibes, upbeat tempo, and catcy background vocals, this new release is no exception.
Alongside the single, Varas also has a newly released a catchy 6 track EP titled There you Go which includes songs “Hell No,” “Careful What You Wish For,” “Rush,” “New Light,” “Waterboy,” and the bonus track “Gotta Go.” The EP features a mix of indie rock and dreamy pop elements, which showcases Varas’ ability to alternate between genres seamlessly, he truly brings fresh new side to the indie scene that fans all around have been searching for.
When speaking on “Gotta Go” Varas stated “Gotta Go,” touches on times of idiotic admiration. When you put someone on a pedestal and nothing can pull them down from it. The consequences could be heavenly or a living hell, and thats the charm of it.”
