Fort Lauderdale once again transformed into a sun-soaked, music-filled escape as Tortuga Music Festival returned for another year. Across three days, the lineup blended rising voices, while Tortuga continues to evolve while staying rooted in its coastal charm.
Friday unfolded as a steady build, with early sets easing the crowd into the weekend. Emily Ann Roberts and Ashley Cooke brought polished, radio-ready performances, while Lukas Nelson added a textured, roots-driven depth to the afternoon. Lakeview, whose set was filled with high energy, was the kind of performance that lingers long after the weekend ends.
Ice Cube took the stage and injected a jolt of cross-genre intensity into the festival, before Post Malone closed out Friday night in full headliner fashion.
Early into Saturday, Adam David marked seven years of sobriety, performing new material shaped by that journey. Colbie Caillat delivered a crowd-pleasing set packed with sing-alongs, while Afroman leaned fully into his legacy and declaring himself “the first viral artist” and gave the fans a surprise appearance ahead of Riley Green.
The Fray, shared that this marked their first country festival in a 20-year career, performed their catalog of timeless tracks that had you singing along as you forgot you knew every word. Closing out Saturday, Tyler Hubbard and Riley Green drew massive audiences, capping the night with two of the weekend’s most in-demand sets.
Sunday felt like a return to Tortuga’s roots with Amanda Shires and Shane Smith & The Saints delivering some of the most musically rich sets of the weekend. Emerging acts like Greylan James—who mentioned was grateful to go from writing songs for famous artists to being able to perform his own—and Josh Ross continued to show why the next wave of country is in good hands.
Closing out the weekend, Russell Dickerson performed a custom setlist designed specifically for Tortuga, tailored to match the beachside atmosphere.
Tortuga Music Festival 2026 embraced a lineup of new names and old time favorites with the uniqueness of a beach festival. Tortuga delivered exactly what it promises every year: a festival experience that feels just a little different—in the best way.
