Thomas Day captures the kind of heartbreak that doesn’t arrive all at once, but instead seeps in slowly on his latest indie pop release, “sore throat.” Day reminisces on late-night conversations, inside jokes, and dreams built together, only to realize those things now live solely in his memory.
The 22 year old shared:
“this is not a breakup song. it’s more like watching your favorite person fade into someone you don’t recognize. that feeling sat heavy with me while writing it alone on a plane somewhere over Arizona.”
As Day gears up to kick off the she’s got a thing about her tour, he’s officially announced that his upcoming EP, kids, will be released on October 9. Pre-save the EP HERE.
