
The nominees for the 2026 JUNO Awards have been unveiled, with pop stars Justin Bieber and Tate McRae taking the lead with 6 nominations each.
In addition to the TD Juno Fan Choice Award, both artists are nominated for Single of the Year, Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, Pop Album of the Year and Songwriter of the Year.
The Weekend has also picked up nods for the TD Juno Fan Choice Award, Single of the Year (for “Cry For Me”), Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Pop Album of the Year.
This year, there are 10 nominees for the Breakthrough Artist or Group of the Year, including Cameron Whitcomb, Goldie Boutilier, Jade LeMac, Jutes, MICO, Noeline Hofmann, Sacha, Saya Gray, Sofia Camara, and yung kai.
Cameron Whitcomb has notably also been nominated for TD Juno Fan Choice Award, Single of the Year, Album of the Year and Country Album of the Year. His album, The Hard Way, has also been nominated for Album Artwork of the Year with art director Logan Dane Morrison taking the nomination. This is Whitcomb’s first year at the JUNOs.
Rounding out the Single of the Year category is Josh Ross with his single “Hate How You Look.” Ross has also been nominated for Album of the Year, TD Juno Fan Choice Award and Country Album of the Year.
Other stand outs for this year include Jessie Reyez, nominated for Songwriter of the Year, Contemporary R&B Recording of the Year and Traditional R&B/Soul Recording of the Year. Daniel Caesar has also been recognised for Songwriter of the Year, Contemporary R&B Recording of the Year and Traditional R&B/Soul Recording of the Year.
bbno$ is nominated for Pop Album of the Year, Artist of the Year and TD Juno Fan Choice. The Beaches are also up for three awards: Rock Album of the Year, Group of the Year and Songwriter of the Year.
This year will also be the first year for the Latin Music Recording of the Year Award with 5 inaugural nominees; Índole (Alex Cuba), BAILA Y CONFÍA (Andy Rubal), Vanity (Isabella Lovestory), La Belleza (Lido Pimienta) and He Sanado Varias Cosas (Mario Puglia).
The 55th Annual Juno Awards will be held on March the 29th at 8pm E.T. and will be aired on CBC TV. The full list of nominees can be found here.
