The Runarounds have released their newest single “Arrhythmia (I Hope You Stay)” to kick off their The Minivan Tour. They’ve also announced brand new tour dates for 2026.
“Arrhythmia (I Hope You Stay)” is a fiery rendition of one of their hit songs featured on the Original Series soundtrack. This new version captures the band as fans would hear them live on tour: instruments so loud you feel the bass in your chest, incredible vocals, and an energy level that’s off the charts.
The track originally aired on the hit Amazon Prime series, The Runarounds, where the band first got their start. Of the new song, guitarist and vocalist Will Lipton said,
“If you are a human living on planet earth, you’ve probably been told in a situation or two to follow your heart. Easier said than done. It is in our nature to be distrustful of ourselves. ‘Arrhythmia’ (a medical term used to describe an irregular heartbeat) is a tune about reaching out to someone close to help you find that trust in yourself again. The band wrote this tune with Matthew Koma back in early 2024 while completing the soundtrack for ‘The Runarounds’ series and we recorded the studio version before we even started filming. Special thanks to Matthew Koma for helping us on this one!”
The song follows the recent release of their anthemic indie-rock song, “Chasing The Good Times.” With much more music on the way, 2026 is going to be an exciting year for The Runarounds.
