Yesterday The Maine‘s drummer Pat Kirch announced that that the band will be launching their very own 8123 podcast. Joined by bandmate Garrett Nickelsen the pair will be putting out podcasts weekly covering different topics. Kirch has hinted at some of the content including individual podcasts on each of the bands albums in depth from the writing process to touring worldwide.
At the start of the year me and @garrettmaine will be launching the official @8123 podcast. Random topics each week, interviewing friends and other bands. Already have 5 episodes finished. Something fun to listen to next time you’re stuck in traffic.

More on the 8123 podcast… We did an hour long talk about Forever Halloween. From the start of writing it all the way up until touring on it and everything in between about the creation. Will do one for each album.

As always the Maine want to include their fans in the process of making the podcast, asking for topic suggestions. The pair are also planning on involving other bands in the podcast including David Knox from Real Friends and Kevin Jordan from This Wild Life.
