The upbeat pop-rock song cleverly reflects on the art of being nonchalant when breaking someone’s heart, using baggy jeans to symbolize emotional detachment. The lyrics convey the idea that heartbreak is just another trend to slip in and out of: “Like it’s nothing to you / Like it’s a normal afternoon / Like I was right before the groceries on the list of your to do’s / Crushed all of my dreams in the hour you had free / Break my heart in baggy jeans, wreck my life so casually.” The band shares more about the song:
