Summerfest announces 2021 headliners and dates

Date:

Summerfest, the largest festival in the United States – hosted in Milwaukee, is coming back this September. After canceling the 2020 music celebration due to COVID-19, the festival is back with more than some of the most eclectic headliners of any festival!! The lineup includes, not only a supporting act but, a headlining act for all those to enjoy; headliners range from Luke Bryan, Chance The Rapper, Jonas Brothers, Christ Stapleton, Zac Brown Band, Dave Matthews Band, Miley Cyrus, and more that have not been announced.

“We could not be more excited to unveil the lineup for Summerfest,” Don Smiley, president and CEO of Milwaukee World Festival Inc., said in a statement. “From first-timers, including Chance the Rapper, Miley Cyrus, and Run the Jewels, to Fest favorites including Dave Matthews Band, T-Pain, Styx and Chris Stapleton, our lineup continues to be one of the most diverse and unique in the industry.”

The event, which normally takes place in June and July, will be postponed until the first 3 weekends of September this year to allow for more covid safe restrictions and vaccine rollouts. Admission will range from Festival Single Day Tickets, Festival Multi Day Passes, and Premium Experiences started at only $23!

“As things have started to progress with vaccines and more good news, we’re actually seeing a lot of artists that have been just sitting on the sidelines, not wanting to do anything, not feeling comfortable or confident yet, starting to come out of hibernation come back into the fold,” said Scott Ziel, associate booking director for Summerfest.

In addition to awesome line up heading our way, the venue receieved a $51.3 million renovation completed last year.
