Sleeping With Sirens is finally back with their powerful new single “An Ending In Itself,” marking their first release in nearly three years since the deluxe edition of their seventh studio album, Complete Collapse.
“An Ending In Itself” is closely reminiscent of Sleeping With Sirens’ early sound with a modern, reimagined grit. The new track navigates resilience in the face of hardships, confronting the tough reality of not giving up despite the odds. With their signature angst and cathartic melodies, the band reintroduces the raw, commanding intensity that has fueled their artistry for the last 15 years. “An Ending In Itself” revitalizes the core elements of their identity while signaling a sharper, more amplified edge. Speaking on the track, frontman Kellin Quinn shares,
“This song is a love letter to anyone in the midst of struggle. I think we live in an age where we’re supposed to pretend like we have it all together all of the time so much so that we’re afraid to let anyone in. I think it’s important to have open dialogue and to ask for help when we need it. This song is about being brave enough to admit that we’re not always okay. No matter what you’re going through, there is hope.”
In addition to the new single, Sleeping With Sirens has officially returned to the Rise Records roster. “An Ending In Itself” marks the band’s first release with the label since their third studio album, Feel, which arrived ahead of their initial departure in 2014.
Sleeping With Sirens will be performing at a handful of festivals nationwide this year, including Welcome To Rockville, Inkcarceration, Louder Than Life, Aftershock and Vans Warped Tour. Tickets and information for all of these upcoming shows can be found here.
