
Iconic UK music festival Slam Dunk returns in May 2026, with headliners American rock band Good Charlotte, ska-punk band Sublime, and alternative rock band Taking Back Sunday. The hardcore lineup continues with alternative acts Bury Tomorrow, Dashboard Confessional, PRESIDENT, and Motion City Soundtrack, among others.
The “South” Slam Dunk Festival will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Hatfield Park in Hertfordshire, and the “North” show will take place on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Temple Newsam in Leeds.
Spanning pop-punk, rock, and alternative genres, the festival has announced 24 of the total artists who will join the final lineup, with additional announcements to follow.
Next year will mark the 38th year of the “Santeria” band Sublime since their 1988 formation in Long Beach, CA, and Slam Dunk 2026 will serve as the ska band’s first-ever show in the United Kingdom.
“Cute Without The ‘E’” band Taking Back Sunday will conduct a special 20th anniversary celebration of their third studio album, Louder Now, which features their hit singles “MakeDamnSure” and “Liar (It Takes One to Know One).”
The headliners will be joined by other known artists in the scene, including Broadside, Hawthorne Heights, Stand Atlantic, The Home Team, Tonight Alive and more.

2026 will mark the 20th year of the festival, with notable inaugural performances of 2006’s up-and-coming alternative acts Fall Out Boy, The Academy Is…, and Thursday.
Slam Dunk 2025 took place in May, showcasing performances from 48 artists, including headliners A Day To Remember, Alkaline Trio, Electric Callboy, and Neck Deep.
