Savanna Leigh explores abandonment and betrayal in harrowing new single

Date:

Singer-songwriter Savanna Leigh is diving deeper into her emotions in her latest release, “tightrope.” At 24 years old, Savanna Leigh has grown an impressive audience that is captivated by her emotionally resonant, personal storytelling style.

“tightrope” tells the story of two friends growing apart. In the track, Savanna Leigh takes listeners on a lyrical journey supported by acoustic guitar and violin. About the song, Savanna Leigh added:

“‘tightrope’ portrays the heartbreak of becoming strangers with one of my closest friends that brought up feelings of abandonment and the idea of being disposable that I have struggled with a lot of my life. It made me question whether the bond was ever truly mutual. Through this writing process I reflected on the nature of our friendship – the unspoken resentments and the haunting feeling when I think of the memories of someone who was so deeply involved in my everyday life.”
