Due to popular demand, Canadian prog-rock band Rush is adding dates to their North American headlining Fifty Something Tour, set for summer 2026. The 17 additional shows include dates in Philadelphia, Boston, Montreal, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Edmonton, Seattle, Vancouver, and more.
The new dates arrive after the previously announced US and Canadian dates have sold out, expanding the Fifty Something Tour to a whopping 39 dates.
Fans can sign up for the artist pre-sale, and the general on-sale begins on Friday, Oct. 31. More information is available on Rush’s official website, here.
The upcoming shows will be the band’s first tour since 2015, and will celebrate their music, legacy, and the life of their late drummer, Neil Peart.
Co-founding members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson announced the new dates in a recent video, thanking fans for their dedication, for selling out shows, and for the overwhelmingly positive response in welcoming German drummer and composer Anika Nilles to the RUSH family.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees shared that the two sets played each night will be unique, created from a distinct selection of greatest hits and fan favorite songs.
Vocalist and bassist Geddy Lee shared,
“It’s been over 10 years since Alex and I have performed the music of RUSH alongside our fallen bandmate and friend Neil. A lifetime’s worth of songs that we had put our cumulative hearts and souls into writing, recording and playing together onstage. And so, after all that has gone down since that last show, Alex and I have done some serious soul searching and come to the decision that we fucking miss it, and that it’s time for a celebration of 50-something years of RUSH music. So in 2026 my BFF Lerxst (aka Alex Lifeson) and I are going to hit the road once again to pay tribute to our past and to Neil by performing a vast selection of RUSH songs in a handful of cities.”
