The countdown to Canada’s biggest rock weekend is officially underway as Rockin’ Thunder unveils its main stage lineup for 2026.

Set to take over the Exhibition Lands Racetrack in Edmonton on Saturday, July 11, and Sunday, July 12, the 2-day festival intends to deliver a powerhouse celebration of rock, bringing together music’s most notable headliners.

Saturday’s lineup will be led by heavyweights Three Days Grace and JUNO-award winning rock band The Glorious Sons, nu-metal powerhouse grandson, multi-platinum artist Bif Naked, and Edmonton natives Calling All Captains

Rounding out Sunday are Wolfgang Van Halen’s very own Mammoth, following Buckcherry and Paul Langlois’ The Tragically Hip band with performances rooted in Canadian rock fashion.

Adding to the excitement, entertainment mogul Rick Campanelli is making his return as the main stage host. Bringing his unmatched energy and love for rock, he is bound to keep  fans on their toes from one explosive show to the next.

And that’s not all: Sunday will close out with Grammy Award-winning rockstars Creed to end an unforgettable weekend.

Rockin’ Thunder’s CEO Troy Vollhoffer shares more about this year’s lineup:

“Rockin’ Thunder was built to celebrate the very best of rock music and this year’s main stage lineup truly delivers. We’re proud to bring together an incredible mix of Canadian icons and internationally celebrated acts that will unite rock fans for two jam-packed days at Exhibition Lands Racetrack.”

Following last year’s sold-out festival, Rockin’ Thunder 2026 promises to be a weekend of thunderous, soaring guitar riffs and lifelong memories. With more artist announcements still to come, fans are urged to grab their tickets before they’re gone.

All tickets are eligible for the payment plan, allowing rock fanatics to secure their spot for only $20 with equal monthly payments to follow. Tickets are now available to purchase here.
