Raynor is “Brighter Than Before” on debut single

Date:

At an early age, indie-pop artist Raynor created his own language—music language, that is. He studied some of the most iconic artists in the game, learning everything from how they wrote to how they performed. He was in love with the craft of it all, and he knew that the melodies in his head could really go somewhere.

Last year, Raynor decided that it was time to seriously pursue a career in music. This is always such a brave move for any artist, as it takes a lot to go from sharing your personal creations with the outside world. Still, Raynor uploaded his demos to social media and, well, racked up millions of views. Therefore, it’s no surprise that his debut single, “Brighter Than Before,” already has 450K streams—and counting!

On “Brighter Than Before,” Raynor introduces the world to his true self. Sometimes, it takes someone else to bring out that side of yourself, which is the case for Raynor. Throughout the track, he mentions how he feels whenever this other person comes into his life, adding “If I could only get the writing off these walls / Then I would go and paint ’em / Brighter than before” into the story. Meanwhile, the warm and rhythmic guitar lines and sunny indie-pop melodies give the track a sweet and simple charm that makes for a memorable debut. You can check it out below.

You can listen to “Brighter Than Before” on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud.
