
Salt Lake City–born singer-songwriter Obeeyay is back with his latest single “Up And Away”, released on August 16. Known for his genre-blending style of dance-pop, synthpop, and indie pop, the track captures everything fans have come to expect from the 25-year-old.
Honing on his his craft early, Obeeyay moved from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles as a teenager to write for other artists. Over the years, he’s collaborated with legends like Brandy, Queen Latifah, and JoJo, before returning to Utah to carve his own path as a solo act.
He first gained widespread attention with his remake of “Sunflower” from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and has since built a reputation as one of Utah’s hottest live performers, with multiple appearances at Utah Jazz games.
