New talent emerges from the scene of Chichester as the band The Ingrid celebrates the release of their debut single titled “Limerence.”

The trio is comprised of university friends Jess Charleslyn (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Will Hornsblow (guitar), and Josh Platt (drums and vocals). The band has built their signature dream-pop and modern indie dreamscape through their creative bridges. In a nutshell, this band serves a reminder to strive for the creative freedom and artistic ingenuity, for this will lead the heart and mind forward on the path to success.

In a press release, Jess shares:

“tHE SONG STARTED WITH A SIMPLE IDEA I COULDN’T SHAKE. IT WAS JUST A FEW LINES AND CHORDS AT FIRST, BUT IT BECAME SOMETHING ELSE ENTIRELY ONCE I BROUGHT IT INTO THE REHEARSAL ROOM.”

With a creative process like this, revolutionary artistic expression falls onto the chess board. The Ingrid’s debut single “Limerence” shows the trio’s unapologetic experimentation, bringing to light the “rougher” topics of self-sabotage, obsession, and acceptance. Provocative and enthralling, much is to be anticipated for these talented artists as these are just their first steps to success.
