Heavy metal band Bad Omens once again surprises fans with a new single titled “Impose,” perhaps off of what fans speculate to be a new album.
In an enchantedly crafted 5-minute music video produced and directed by lead singer Noah Sebastian and director Nico Poalillo, the band bewitches listeners in a cinematic world of storytelling. In a space where time between two lovers seemingly slips away whenever they’re together, lingering doubts haunt the halls of this romantic embrace, as seen in the lyrics:
“And their echoes sit alone in a prison made of bone / oh I hate it, but it’s home for me / In every place I’m on my toes / and still I feel like I impose / It’s okay to let me go if you need / What’s it say about me if I run away without you when I fall asleep and in your head I’m always gonna stay? / What’s it say about me if I never change and I push everyone away on borrowed time you know I can’t repay?”
Fans online have also taken notice of a shot of a door at the end of the music video, a theme that also appeared in the video for “Specter,” a prior surprise drop released on August 8th.
Bad Omens is currently gearing up for their anticipated Louder Than Life 2025 festival appearance ahead of their Do You Feel Love Europe tour. Tickets to the tour are available here.
