“How to Live” marks Del Water Gap’s first release of 2025. The indie-pop single allows listeners to step into the singer’s inner monologue. He questions morality and purpose while wrestling with the feeling of never quite measuring up: “I made a little money, but it’s never enough / She’ll tell me that she wants me but it still ain’t enough / My neighbors gettin’ naughty and it’s keeping me up / There’s no god above me and it’s fuckin’ me up.”
Del water Gap will be taking over Chicago later this week for a performance at Lollapalooza on Friday, August 1st at 3:30 PM on the Tito’s Handmade Vodka Stage. Later that night, he will be headlining an official Lollapalooza Aftershow at Schubas.
