Alternative artist BANNERS released “Have You Ever Loved Someone,” a shimmering pop ode to being in love so much so that it tears you apart. The track pairs heartfelt lyrics and impassioned vocals on love’s devastation with a light, upbeat melody.
BANNERS serves as a moniker for Michael Joseph Nelson, a Liverpool-based singer-songwriter. BANNERS debuted in 2015 and has since gone on to release a roster of hits including “Someone To You,” a track now RIAA certified 2x Multi-Platinum in the US.
Just this year, the prolific artist dropped an EP titled I Wish I Was Flawless, I’m Not, and other singles titled “Name in Lights” and “Tell You I Love You.” Whether this latest string of singles will lead to his next full-length album or not, BANNERS will surely continue to shine his light.
