Her lyrics are witty and honest, with lines like “Daytona sucks” and “not the quiet little bird I used to be” balancing her playfulness with her personality. “Biketoberfest” is inspired by the annual motorcycle rally in her hometown, where she would get stuck behind bikers on her way to school. What was once a random frustration is now, through her clever songwriting and production, a playful musical moment. Sharing her inspiration on the song, Nep comments:
“There’s a motorcycle rally in my hometown called Biketoberfest—I didn’t like living there, and getting blocked and made late by bikers on my way into the city for school is so niche and weird that I just had to write a song about it!”
