Rapper Megan Thee Stallion is considered one of the most influential female rappers right now, having released two studio albums and won three Grammy Awards since 2021. Yesterday she surprised fans during her Hot Girl Summer Tour by announcing her third studio album titled MEGAN, set to drop June 28 under her independent label Hot Girl Productions. She departed from her former label 300 Entertainment and 1501 Certified.
Megan has described this record as a “rebirth,” inspired by snakes shedding their skin to evolve. MEGAN is preceded by three singles: “Cobra,” “Hiss,” and “Boa,” all of which debuted on the US Billboard Hot 100.
The Hot Girl Summer Tour, which began on May 14 in Minneapolis, will conclude on July 27 in Washington, D.C.
