ME ND ADAM have released a new single, “The Spiral Inn,” as a preview of their upcoming album A Chain Reaction of Pointless Disasters. While the album doesn’t have a confirmed release date, the release of new music suggests that it’s coming soon.
“The Spiral Inn” describes a fictional but emotionally real place, one that an anxious mind drifts to against its will. The track explores the internal battle of resisting a mental spiral, only to eventually lose to overwhelming thoughts. It nods to the vibe of 1970s classics like “Hotel California” with a modern island-Americana twist.
ME ND ADAM are an indie alternative rock duo based in Austin, Texas. The pair originally met in New Orleans, Louisiana, and didn’t get along at first. Still, fate—and a shared love for music and storytelling—brought them back together to form the band.
Adam typically composes songs on acoustic guitar, which Vince then uses as the foundation to produce full tracks. The duo completes the recording process at their home studio, blending their creative strengths.
For live performances, they’re joined by guitarist Ian Green, keyboardist Marcell Coleman and drummer Sam Shahin. These longtime collaborators bring variety and depth to the band’s evolving sound on the new project.
