An anthem to the best friends, Lukas Graham shares new song “Wish You Were Here” featuring Khalid (Aug. 19).
As stated in the opening of the official lyric video, Lukas Graham states “it’s an anthem to the best friends. We all know the feeling of standing on the edge or the top of the world and missing someone special. It’s always at big events and special occasions that I miss those unique people in my life that made me who I am today.”
As Lukas vocals instantly soar at the start of the song, Khalid quickly joins in to spread a message that for sure is relatable to many who might be missing a loved one. With the song progressing, the singers begin to harmonize beautifully throughout the track allowing the listener to feel nostalgic and to cherish all the memories they had with a best friend who might no longer be with them.
