LOVA encourages healthy communication in new song “It’s Alright”

Date:

LOVA is a well-known pop staple from Sweden, known for her thought-provoking lyrics and captivating melodies. Her new song “It’s Alright” focuses on expressing your emotions.

“It’s Alright” is about knowing when to ask for help. Through punchy bass and layered harmonies, LOVA reflects on a situation in which she noticed someone was hurting, but that person never reached out for support. Her lyrics describe how it is healthy to share your feelings with people who will support you through both the highs and lows of life’s challenges.

Sharing more behind “It’s Alright”, LOVA comments:

“I initially started writing this song with someone close to me in mind, someone who was struggling but kept insisting they were fine. But the truth is, I saw pieces of myself in it too. It’s always easier to recognize unhealthy patterns in others than to confront them in ourselves. Whether it’s about them or me, the story is the same – someone smiling through their sadness, convincing themselves they’re happy, until they start to believe it. But this song is here to let people know: It’s okay to want more… It’s okay to dream bigger. The world isn’t meant to be dull and gray when it can be full of color and life. This song is a reminder that the best days are still ahead, and they’ll come when we stop settling and start truly living.”
