Rising artist Lola Young has released a new single titled “d£aler,” a bold track about the urge to run away from your problems rather than face them head-on. The song showcases her vocal control over a pop-infused, sample-based beat, offering a raw and emotional declaration of inner conflict.
“d£aler” serves as the final single before the release of her upcoming album, I’m Only Fucking Myself, due out Sept. 19 via Island Records. The track follows her previous singles, “Not Like That Anymore,” a rebellious anthem about breaking the rules, and the groovy “One Thing.” Both songs have surpassed 1 million streams and earned recognition from Rolling Stone, Billboard, PAPER and other major outlets.
The single also comes on the heels of Young’s summer festival run across Europe, with performances at Glastonbury, Roskilde and Lollapalooza Paris, as well as shows in North America, including New York City and Washington, D.C. She is set to embark on a North American tour in November, with stops in Toronto, Atlanta, Chicago and more.
The year 2025 has marked a breakout moment for Young. She received direct support from Billie Eilish, opening at her pair of shows at Accor Arena in Paris. Young also performed at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, was nominated for an American Music Award for Social Song of the Year for “Messy,” and earned three Ivor Novello Award nominations. She has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, spoken with NPR and the Los Angeles Times, delivered a Day 1 set at Coachella, and was featured on Rolling Stone’s “Future 25” artists list.
With her debut album on the way, Lola Young is poised to finish the year strong and carry her momentum into 2026.
