Canadian singer-songwriter Lindsay Ell has just announced the October 3rd release of her upcoming EP fence sitter, along with a string of tour dates and festival stops.
This weekend, the guitarist will be making stops at Festival D’Été de Québec and Ottawa Bluesfest for Shania Twain before continuing on with her touring across North America. In Alberta, Ell will be performing on the 3rd and 16th of August at Camrose and Calgary respectively. As the lead guitarist for Shania Twain the artist will be performing at 13 shows starting in July and ending in August. Cities include Toronto, Jacksonville, Ottawa, Quebec, Darien Lake, Saratoga Springs, Bangor, Gilford Hershey and Hollywood (FL).
Ell’s newly announced EP, fence sitter, is a continuation from her 2024 EP love myself, and is set to strip away layers of herself. The lead single “Magic” is described as “a reminder to believe that you just need to keep going” by the pop artist. The more upbeat, pop sound of the single is new for the singer-songwriter but gives a new fun direction for Ell.
“I always believed that if you apply yourself to something hard enough, you can make it happen,” Lindsay Ell shares. “‘magic’ is a reminder to believe that you just need to keep going and you’ll find those moments of joy and accomplishment.”
