The competition in the pop landscape is fierce, and Kesha emerges as the sleazy underdog who vomits glitter after a night out and brushes her teeth with Jack Daniels. To celebrate the 15-year anniversary of her smash debut album, Kesha has released a deluxe edition of Animal + Cannibal with five bonus tracks and exclusive vinyl variants.
The original tracklist is joined by “Butterscotch” and “Shots on the Hood of My Car,” which was originally recorded for the Cannibal EP. “Fuck Him He’s A DJ” and “Blow (Cirkut Remix),” found on 2011’s I Am the Dance Commander + I Command You to Dance: The Remix Album, are also featured.
Kesha has also unlocked keshasparty.com, an archive of downloadable photos and remixes hosted on a Myspace-era website. Exclusive merchandise, including a signed vinyl, apparel, a lighter and a shot glass, are now live. A Target-exclusive black-and-white splatter vinyl is also available for preorder.
The 4x Platinum-certified Animal topped the Billboard charts in 2010, producing the hit singles “TiK ToK” and “Your Love Is My Drug.” Over a decade later, Kesha has continued her domination with sold-out arena and amphitheater shows in support of her latest album, . (PERIOD).
