Despite the longevity of the Taxi Theory made popular by Sex & The City, Julia Adrian breaths new life into the concept to explore small details about relationships in her new single “Taxi Light”.

Adrian’s strong word choice especially hits hard for young women in relationships saying, “Stalking my socials / I love that devotion” and “You preached independence but it took you one month since we ended”. She finally concludes that the opposite party’s “taxi light turned off” signifies the end of a budding relationship.

Based in the heart of New York City, the young singer-songwriter blends pop and indie sounds to create a catchy track in which she can address serious ideas in a lighthearted and relatable way.
