Josh Groban held his annual Find Your Light Benefit Concert for Arts Education at the Jazz Lincoln Center on Oct. 8. Many stars in the music and theater world came together for an unforgettable night. They experienced one-of-a-kind performances, got the chance to participate in auctions, and were served dinner and cocktails.
This year, the event set a record of raising $1.5 million, which is going to help tons of arts education students all across the country.
Groban started the night with a performance of his song “Be Alright” with the Find Your Light Children’s Choir at his side. Jordan Fisher, Renée Fleming, Ivy Ross, and Susan Magsamen all delivered inspirational speeches during which they shared the importance of arts education.

The night included many performances that would be hard to forget. Jordan Fisher performed “Wait For It” from the beloved musical Hamilton. Maleah Joi Moon performed “Hallelujah/Like Water” from the musical Hell’s Kitchen along with Norah Jones performing “Come Away With Me” and a duet of “I Can’t Make You Love Me” with Josh Groban himself. The night did not end there; there were so many other performances from Grammy-winning and Emmy-nominated artists.
Susan Magsamen and Ivy Ross received the Arts For Healing Award, and the Find Your Light Award was presented to the one and only Sesame Street, as it has spent decades teaching kids how to do things like read and write.
To finish off the night, Elmo and Ernie from Sesame Street joined Groban on stage to perform “Sing After Me” and “I’d Like To Visit The Moon,” which was followed by Groban and the Find Your Light Children’s Choir performing “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
The Find Your Light Foundation wants to make sure every student has the opportunity to get an excellent education in the arts.
