The Jonas Brothers kicked off 20 years of being a band with their JONAS20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour at MetLife Stadium last night with a setlist spanning their entire careers, surprise collaborations, and one unforgettable reunion that sent fans straight back to the summer of 2008.

Act 1 saw three special guests that would send the early 2000s (and 2025) into a frenzy. After “S.O.S.” and “Sucker,” Switchfoot joined the band for a cover of “Meant to Live” and a rousing “Hold On,” before moving into “Little Bird” and the chorus only of “Summer Baby” which was fan requested (@sublinhando) after a gender reveal. The surprise guests didn’t end there as Jesse McCartney came out brought the early-2000s pop magic with “Beautiful Soul.” Joe Jonas even got his time to shine with “Cake By The Ocean” by DNCE.

However, the night’s most talked-about moment came in Act 2 when Demi Lovato stepped onto the stage for a long-awaited Camp Rock reunion with Joe Jonas. The duo delivered a heartfelt performance of the movie’s defining ballad (and recent TikTok viral), “This Is Me,” before closing with the Camp Rock 2 duet “Wouldn’t Change a Thing.” Many in the crowd were visibly emotional at the sight of two Disney Channel icons sharing the mic once again.

After years of personal growth and well-publicized ups and downs, this public reconnection of Lovato with the Jonas Brothers symbolized a moment of healing.

Act 2 mixed solo hits like Nick Jonas’ “Jealous” and Joe Jonas’ “What This Could Be” with a medley of deep cuts before leading into the Camp Rock reunion. The night closed with a powerhouse “Year 3000” and “”Burnin’ Up”, complete with Big Rob’s iconic rap.

By the final encore, one thing was clear for what’s to come during the rest of the JONAS20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour. The Brothers aren’t looking back on their 20-year career, they’re bringing the people and artists who made it possible along for the ride. And with Demi Lovato by their side, even if just for one night, it felt like the world was healing.

The tour comes following the release of Greetings From Your Hometown, which came out on August 8th and featured collaborations with Switchfoot, Marshmello, and Dean Lewis. You can purchase or stream the record now.

Be sure to catch the Jonas Brothers on tour across North America over the next few months. Tickets are available here.
