Ice Nine Kills have announced that they’ll be expanding their annual Silver Scream Con overseas later this year. After four massively successful years in the US, the two-day horror convention will take place at London’s Cumberland Hotel in Marble Arch on December 13th and 14th following the metal band’s UK/EU A Work of Art Tour.
Silver Scream Con has established itself as one of the top horror conventions in the United States since it began in 2022. Based in the band’s home state of Massachusetts, the event is now held in Worcester’s DCU Center, marking the rapid increase in attendance size since its first two years in Salem. As the convention prepares to make its way to the UK, Ice Nine Kills now get to bring the fun to their growing, horror-obsessed international fanbase. Frontman Spencer Charnas shares,
“When we began discussing the international expansion of Silver Scream Con, the UK felt like the perfect starting point. London has such a rich horror tradition and has always been wickedly kind to our band. Like an American Werewolf in London, the first-ever Silver Scream Con UK is certain to raise some hell!”
Silver Scream Con strives to gather fans to meet celebrity guests from iconic franchises, attend Q&A panels, participate in unique photo opportunities and engage in immersive experiences to commemorate their love for the horror and music communities. While the full schedule and list of special guests hasn’t yet been revealed, Terrifier director Damien Leone and David Howard Thornton (Art The Clown) have been confirmed to attend.
