Housewife drops ‘Girl of the Hour’ EP featuring new single “Matilda”

Date:

At just 20 years old, Brighid Fry, best known as Housewife, is rising in the indie pop scene. Fry’s newest single, “Matilda,” just dropped March 7, along with their newest EP, Girl of the Hour.

With a low-key yet catchy feel, “Matilda” yearns for a girl who Fry is not with. Fry sings, “I wanna push my body till it breaks / But I’m stuck here stationary / If you see Matilda / Just tell her I miss her,” wishing they could have her back.

About today’s EP release, Fry posted on Instagram:

“Thank you to my family and friends, especially my grandfather and mum. You guys are the reason I’ve stuck it out through so much change the last two years. Anyways, go stream Girl of the Hour and watch the ‘Matilda’ music video!”
