honestav releases newest single “Believe”

Date:

Ahead of his sophomore EP, alternative singer-songwriter honestav (Av) has released his latest single, “Believe.” The track, much like the accompanying music video, feels like driving with the windows down through your hometown, realizing it doesn’t feel the same as it used to. Nothing does.

The music video, filmed with some of his close friends, gives fans a glimpse into the life he used to have before he was thrown into the national spotlight with his breakout hit, “I’d Rather Overdose,” in 2024.

Throughout the track, Av reflects on his old life — the emotional turmoil and the hardships, but also the friends he made along the way. It’s a love song to growing up, and is filled with hope.

“‘Believe’ is about the moment when you find something worth changing for and moving forward, even when you’re still navigating the same old streets,” he shares.

“My entire life has changed so drastically over the past two years, but I’ll always be grateful for the people who saw the best in me even during my struggles, and challenged me to believe in myself.”
