On October 4th, pop sensation Halsey released her first single since the debut of her 2017 album hopeless fountain kingdom titled, ‘Without Me.’ This song about having a relationship in the public eye was the first premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats1, and was followed by an interview with the singer. She did confirm that the single was considered a “stand-alone record,” and not be featured on any upcoming albums.
“I cried the whole time I recorded it. But now I feel proud. And empowered,” said Halsey.
A couple weeks later on October 29th, she dropped a metaphorically heart-wrenching music video for the record that took her fans by storm. The video has accumulated over 4 million views in a matter of days from the release.
